Food for Thought Pantry

The Department of Student Support and Transitions runs a food pantry for currently enrolled students who are facing food insecurity.  The pantry is partnered with Second Harvest of the Big Bend to keep the shelves and freezers stocked.  The Pantry is open from 8:00am to 5:00pm Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday. On Wednesdays the Pantry is available from 1:00 on to 5:00 pm. Any alterations to standard hours are advertised within the Pantry and on the Pantry’s social media pages. The Pantry is located in University Center A, Suite 4148.  Please reach out to or the Department of Student Support and Transitions main phone line 850-644-2428 with any questions or concerns

  • 2-1-1 Big Bend is a service dedicated to finding assistance within the city of Tallahassee and neighboring cities.  They offer resources from food pantries, rental/utility assistance, to clothing/household goods:
