Spring 2023 Enrollment Appointments
Spring 2023 Course Registration Begins Oct. 10
Though it may seem very far from the end of the fall semester, FSU students should start planning now to enroll in Spring 2023 classes. You can encourage your student to take steps now to prepare for course registration. FSU encourages students to enroll the day their enrollment appointment begins to get the best choice of available classes, and they can adjust enrollment through Dec. 16.
Enrollment Appointments
Students are assigned an Enrollment Appointment based on their earned credit hours (not including this semester). It is the day they can start enrolling in classes for the next semester.
Enrollment Appointments are visible now in students’ myFSU portal. Here is a general breakdown for Spring 2023:
- Seniors 110+ hrs earned, Students with Priority Registration & Graduate Students | Monday, October 10th
- Seniors | 90-109 hrs earned | Wednesday, October 12th
- Juniors | 60-89 hrs earned | Monday, October 24th
- Sophomores | 30-59 hrs earned | Monday, October 31st
- Freshmen | 0-29 hrs earned | Monday, November 7th
Steps Students Can Start on Now
- Look up your Enrollment Appointment in MyFSU. Write it on your calendar.
- View Holds on your account and address them before your enrollment appointment begins. Many holds block students from registering in courses. Details and instructions for holds are listed MyFSU.
- Schedule an academic advising appointment for a week or two before your enrollment appointment or visit drop-in advising hours.
- Prepare for academic advising by double-checking any transfer/exam credit has posted and looking at your degree requirements in MyFSU (click on ‘SC’, ‘Academics’, then ‘My Academic Requirements’).
- Class search for Spring 2023 is live now if you want to see classes offered for next semester. A day or two before your enrollment appointment, start searching for classes your advisor suggested.
Students should enroll on the day their enrollment appointment begins. If you have trouble, contact your academic advisor or drop into a Course Registration Lab for one-on-one enrollment assistance.
