As a family member of an FSU student, you are probably aware of the many challenges posed by the pandemic to your student. Students also encounter difficulties in “normal” times and don’t know where to turn for help. In response, we developed a tool to help students express, and hopefully resolve, issues of all sorts that could arise in the academic realm. 

We share it because we know that family members play key roles in supporting students’ efforts to learn proactive and productive ways to express their concerns and get the assistance they need. We hope that when students utilize the resources and process suggestions contained in Resolving Academic Problems: A Step-by-Step Guide for Students, positive outcomes will result, including enhanced relationships between students and faculty.
